Germany-Russia match: don't be afraid

All right, so here goes my first post in this blog and I'm not quite happy about it :) Because I'm a Russian and I'm a football fan.

But it's simply because of the result. 2-1 isn't going to decide anything yet, but still it's a loss. On the other hand, it was some kind of an experiment. It was a real trial.

One thing I can say for sure - it's not over yet! The first half was a mess because yes, they were "scared of something", just as Igor Akinfeev said, and they were punished for that. I'm not going to say how many times we could've scored (maybe because I didn't count :P ) or who made most mistakes (it will be a bit irrelevant), but two goals were scored because Podolski and Ballack simply wanted to score them. That's what our side lacks (for now) - the will to score. I hope it will change very soon as another game is ahead and that's where we can show what we're capable of. We have some very good (and calm) players, players who have skills, but need to learn a lot and players who are afraid of something.

The good thing is that they were not afraid at all after half time and that brought us a goal which proved that Germany's side is not an unbeatable machine. Spain scored once in the Euro final, but Germany scored nothing and that's because of two things: good defence and natural will to move forward... and they got Casillas :)
